I’ve had this dutch oven for a while now and absolutely love it. It’s beautiful and functional. If you take care of it after each use (don’t soak in water or use soap) it will last many lifetimes. I will definitely be buying the other Lodge Signature Series items to complete the set.

In the year I have had this pot I have made some great stews and pot roasts. The capacity is ample to serve 2-4 people. It performs as a good heavy dutch oven should. The Stainless handles add a touch of class to the pot. It has retained it’s seasoning without having to re-do.

Could not be more pleased with this product. The claim to be “pre-seasoned” is not completely true in my mind. It does have a surface ready to cook, but it will take use and care to develop a true hard carbon non stick seasoned characteristic… but it will and it will become something my kids will fight over when I am gone.
